Just a 45 minute drive from Hobart situated on the banks of the Derwent River, check into your luxuriously appointed glamping tent, kitted out with all the mod cons including a king bed, large ensuite bathroom, heating and cooling, and lush furnishings. Snooze in your hammock, relax on your private balcony and wake to the pleasant sound of birds. Embrace the slower pace of life by wandering along the river spotting platypus, reading a book or taking on a ijgsaw puzzle. If you wish to get out and explore your wider surroundings, wineries, distilleries, breweries and a wildlife sanctuary are just a short drive away. Truffle Lodge is located near Gretna, a tiny town in the heart of the Derwent Valley. It is an hour's drive from Hobart Airport and 45 minutes from Hobart.
