Arrive for check in after 3pm, before settling into your heritage-inspired accommodation. You will then be transferred to Thomson River where you will board the Starlight cruise. Day two is full of adventure and fun as you will be treated to a number of immersive experiences, such as the Nogo Station Experience, the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame, Qantas Founders Museum and the amazing Stonegrill Dining Experience.
Indulge in a delicious buffet breakfast on your last day before heading to the famous Cobb & Co Stagecoach for a ride along the old Longreach to Windorah mail route. After this, head to the tea room to enjoy home baked scones and tea, followed by a classic Australian movie. Enjoy a billy can lunch before saying your goodbyes to your new friends and the stunning surrounds of outback Australia.
The welcoming and knowledgable Kinnon Family bring the Australian pioneering spirit to life in this Longreach Storytelling Getaway, and will allow you to gain a deeper insight into the iconic Australian outback culture. With everything included from the unique, boutique accommodation inspired by pioneer times to the big country buffet breakfasts and transfers to the experiences, all you have to do is enjoy this incredible escape to Australia’s heartland.
This experience is for two people.
If one of the signature experiences (Cobb and Co Stagecoach, Starlight’s Cruise or Nogo Station) is cancelled due to bad weather, the provider will offer you an alternative day if it fits within your timetable. If not, a refund on your travel insurance will need to be claimed. Necessary documentation can be supplied.
It is recommended to wear comfortable, casual clothing and to bring a jacket for the evenings as it can get cold during the winter months.
