Sequoia is an intimate, adults-only luxury lodge, nestled in the highlands of the glorious Adelaide Hills in South Australia. A private sanctuary with many exclusive amenities as well as bespoke onsite and personalised offsite activities, Sequoia will take you by the hand and sweep you off your feet. You will connect with the land and its people through a range of curated experiences that are included in your stay, listening to the Sequoia story of place, whilst you savour and learn from artisan producers. Enjoy a morning yoga session, join a guided nature walk through a National Park, or simply sit back and relax in one of our artesian spring-fed hot pools overlooking the breathtaking Piccadilly Valley, with many more seasonally rotating experiences on offer during your stay.
Your journey of connection and discovery begins with a warm welcome as you pass through the Sequoia gate and take in the impressive surroundings. Your first activity will see you immerse yourself in Mount Lofty House Cellar where you will discover some hidden gems and iconic wines from South Australia, with a beverage expert on hand to showcase the different aspects of South Australia's fabulous wine producers. You "official" welcome then takes place at sunset where you will be introduced to the stories of the region before taking in a four-course dinner at the three-chef-hatted Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant.
Day two beings with an artisan breakfast as you watch the morning light bring the Piccadilly Valley to life, followed by a 90-minute nature walk through Cleland Conservation Park where you will learn about the surrounding flora and fauna as well as the region’s history. Lunch at one of five different venues will fit in with your schedule, including th eoption to eat on your suite balcony, before you are treated to a South Australian cheese and wine masterclass with fellow guests. A dinner at one of the incredible on-site restaurants kicks off the evening portion of your second day, followed by a spot of star gazing with a Celestrom Telescope at your disposal.
Your third and final day starts with another delicious breakfast followed by a luxurious 60-minute soak in your private hot pool that will see body and mind fully rejuvenated.
