Learn how to 4WD the beach with this full day training course. With the guidance of an internationally certified trainer; you will learn the capabilities of your 4WD vehicle and how to drive on soft sand. You will also learn how to rescue your car when it gets bogged down.
Learn the basics of four wheel driving on sand with this fun, full day driving course. Under the tuition of an internationally certified 4WD trainer, you'll learn how tyre pressure impacts your 4WD technique as well as the best driving lines, gear selection and how to avoid getting bogged.
The aim of the day is for you to get hands-on experience, so you will be able to challenge yourself to driving on the beach, under the watchful eyes of your instructor, of course. The course has been carefully designed to help you become more confident in driving through beach environments as well as more knowledgable about the capabilities of 4WD vehicles. You will practise recovering the car from getting bogged in sand and discuss proper beach driving etiquette among much more! A fun day out that will leave you a much better, more safe 4WD driver.
This is an outdoor activity. Reasonable health and fitness is required.
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
A minimum of two 4WD vehicles and a maximum class of 10 people. Maximum of 10 people
For participants' safety, in extreme weather conditions the course will be rescheduled to next available date.
Long sleeve shirt. Long pants. Enclosed footwear. Sunglasses. Hat. Beach towel.
Bring a beach chair, beach towel, umbrella, suncream, insect repellant, LUNCH and plenty of WATER. Participants will be required to purchase Beach Access Permits and Ferry Fees so bring along some coins.
This experience takes place along the beautiful Noosa North Shore, between Tewantin and Rainbow Beach, QLD.
