Flying in the cutting-edge Extra 330LX stunt plane and the iconic Red Baron Pitts Special biplane, this heart-pounding adventure takes you to heights of 3500-4000ft over the stunning foothills of the Great Dividing Range. After the chase, you'll enjoy an extreme solo aerobatic sequence before rejoining your partner for a formation landing. Your mission begins at Red Baron Hangar with a briefing and flight-suit prep, followed by takeoff and the exhilarating dogfight. Perfect for thrill-seekers, this experience is the ultimate test of nerves, skill, and fun!
This experience is valid for two people, with each passenger in their own aircraft. Passenger 1 will fly in the Red Baron Stunt Plane. Passenger 2 will fly in the Red Baron Open Cockpit Biplane.
Friends and family are welcome to accompany you for your experience. They can wait in our comfortable flight lounge while you have the experience of a lifetime. They will join you walking out to the aeroplane for photos together and your mission briefing, watch you depart and then greet you when you land.
Red Baron reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule flights for any reason that may affect the safety of the flight. Safety is our number one priority. Weather, aircraft serviceability and pilot availability are factors that may determine if a flight will proceed on the requested date and time. If the weather is deemed unsuitable for flying we will contact you. Poor weather conditions include, but are not limited to; low cloud cover, rain, adverse wind conditions, and forecast temperature exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.
You will get suited up in a pilot's flight suit, the same specification as those used by the Australian and US Airforce. With this in mind, we recommend comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day. Enclosed shoes are required. Sunglasses and a hair tie for long hair are highly recommended.
