A visit to this world-class, luxury wellness sanctuary in the heart of Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, Alba Thermal Springs & Spa, will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Leave your cares at the door as you experience these restorative springs, nestled in 15 hectares of native landscaped gardens, where you will enjoy unlimited geothermal bathing in over 20 pools, including the Forest pools, the sunset pool and the Seasons pool, which changes temperature based on the season. You can continue to find tranquillity in The Hide pool before reinvigorating your senses in the sauna, steam room and plunge pools.
Post-dip you will be treated to a two-course lunch or dinner for two at Thyme, Alba's restaurant showcasing locally sourced produce in a delicious menu created by award-winning chef Karen Martini, as well as a glass of local wine, craft beer or non-alcoholic beverage of your choosing. On top of all this, guests are provided with a bathrobe, towel and locker, the latter being of particular importance with phones, laptops and smartwatches not allowed in the springs, spa or restaurant; true tranquillity requires some sacrifice, after all. Bookings are essential and need to be made at least 48 hours in advance
We do not recommend bathing in geothermal springs during pregnancy. You may enjoy dipping your feet in the springs, but fully immersing your body may raise your body temperature, which can be dangerous during pregnancy. We recommend that people with certain medical conditions do not enter springs before first obtaining medical advice.
In the event of thunderstorms, we will ask guests to leave the pools until the storm passes.
Appropriate swimwear must be worn in the springs. We recommend the use of hats, rash vests, sunglasses and sunscreen while bathing. Please note, clothing such as t-shirts are not permitted in the springs, as the high mineral content of the water may cause discolouration. We suggest you don't wear jewellery in the springs as the minerals may cause tarnishing. Waterproof footwear, such as thongs or sandals, is highly recommended throughout the springs and wet areas. Please note footwear is required to enter the restaurant.
