The Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a variety of unique Tassie wildlife and they are hungry! Spend 2.5 hours meeting and feeding a bunch of cute little critters including Tasmanian devils, wombats, cockatoos and eastern quolls. It's going to be a feeding frenzy!

Immerse yourself in an incredible animal world filled with weird and wonderful creatures as you join a daytime feeding tour at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Each tour is kept small to ensure you have ample opportunity to interact with the cute critters. There will be so much on the agenda during the tour including feeding the wombats their daily snacks, giving cockatoos their squirmy treats, help feed a tasty snack to the Tasmanian devils and hand-feed some tawny frogmouth birds and watch them swallow their food whole. Keep an eye out for the secretive and mysterious Tasmanian bettongs in their grassy nests and meet two unique species of quoll. There will be plenty of amazing photo opportunities along the way so make sure you capture your rare interactions with these curious creatures!

Session Length

  • Please allow 2.5 hours for the duration of this experience
  • Available daily at 10am and 1:30pm

Restrictions

Bookings are essential. Same-day bookings are not permitted. A 48-hour notice is required for booking.

Guidelines

  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult
  • The animals are fed a varied diet, so if you have any allergies please advise of this at the time of booking to ensure they do not include those foods
  • If you are allergic to latex you must also advise this at the time of booking. Latex free gloves are available on request
  • Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance

Cancellation

  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This experience runs with a minimum of one and a maximum of eight participants.

Spectators

Spectators are not allowed, only full fee paying guests can join the tour.

Weather

This is an all-weather Sanctuary. In the event of inclement weather tours will proceed as normal unless contacted by the experience provider directly.

Dress Code

It is recommended to bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty.
