All skill levels are welcome, as our kayaks are very stable and safe. Our qualified guides are always there to help you learn the necessary paddling skills. Our customers have to be 12yrs or older.

Cancellation

2. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY 2.1. Sydney Kayak Experience reserves its right to determine the suitability of the weather and other conditions (‘the conditions’) on the day for participation in the Kayaking Activity and is at liberty to cancel the Kayaking Activity at its own discretion. 2.2. If Sydney Kayak Experience determines prior to the commencement of a Kayaking Activity that the conditions are not safe, then Sydney Kayak Experience will notify you via email of such cancellation between 5pm and 6pm, the day before your Kayaking Activity, and you will be offered an alternative date for your tour. Please check your emails (including your spam folder) between 5pm and 6pm the day before your tour. 2.3. If Sydney Kayak Experience determines that the conditions are safe for the Kayaking Activity, but you elect not to participate regardless, then Sydney Kayak Experience will not be at liberty to provide a refund or reschedule.

2.4. If you book a Kayaking Activity and opt to cancel due to “change of mind” or other circumstances, outside of 72 hours, an alternative date will be offered, free of charge, or a 90% refund. Sydney Kayak Experience incurs fees when making bookings and processing refunds, so this 10% covers this. 2.5. If you book a Kayaking Activity and opt to cancel due to “change of mind” or other circumstances, within 48-72 hours of your Kayaking Activity, an alternative date will be offered, free of charge, to make up the Kayaking Activity, but no refund will be offered this close to your tour. 2.6. If you cancel your Kayaking Activity within 48 hours or if you don’t turn up to your booked tour on the day, Sydney Kayak Experience will NOT offer a refund or reschedule. 2.7. If Sydney Kayak Experience are unable to operate due to Government restrictions, Sydney Kayak Experience will process open-ended store credits/Gift Certificate codes to the full value of your seats booked, to everyone booked

2.8 Sydney Kayak Experience are an all-weather experience, kayaking during the time of the Sunrise and mid-morning, but cannot guarantee what the sunrise or weather will be. Don’t forget to bring a raincoat in case of rain and dress for the conditions on the day. The Sydney Kayak Experience team love to kayak, but will postpone tours during electrical storms or during times of extremely high wind. If you have any questions please email us. If Sydney Kayak Experience have indicated in a 5pm weather update email that the kayaking activity is safe to go ahead, but it may be a wet activity, and you would like to reschedule due to possible rain, you can opt to reschedule up until 6pm the night before your tour, for a non-refundable rebooking fee of 15%. This late reschedule fee covers the cost of the Guides that are booked to run the activity that is due to go ahead.

This rebooking option is only available if a wet-weather email has been sent by Sydney Kayak Experience and the rebooking is outlined as an option in this email, otherwise, the standard cancellation and no show policy will apply. 2.9. In the interest of protecting the health and well-being of Sydney Kayak Experience staff and guests, I acknowledge that I WILL NOT attend my scheduled kayaking activity if: I/We have returned from overseas or visited a hot spot in the 14 days prior to my Kayaking Activity. I/We have been diagnosed with COVID-19. I/We have been in close contact with a person who has a reported or suspected case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the 14 days prior to my Kayaking Activity. I/We have a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or other cold/flu-like symptoms in the 72 hours prior to my Kayaking Activity.

Weather

As long as conditions are safe, our tours go ahead. If weather conditions look less than ideal, a rescheduling option is offered.

Dress Code

Please consider the season and the forecast, and dress accordingly. You may want to layer up in the cooler months. Please bring spare clothes and shoes to get changed into after the tour as you may get wet. Consider a hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water in summertime.

This experience takes place in Sydney Harbour, leaving from Milson Park, Kirribili to show you the sights of the harbour (Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Luna Park etc...)
