Discover why freediving is becoming popular with this one-day full freedive course at Byron Bay. The PADI Freediver course includes two phases: knowledge development and a confined water session. Start with an interactive app and theory session to learn about breath holding, water pressure, freediving equipment, safety rules, and buddy procedures. Attend a breath workshop to manage stress and prepare for your dive. In the pool session, practice breathing techniques while floating (static apnea) and swimming (dynamic apnea). Finally, explore the underwater wonders of Julian Rocks with two open water dives. Experience the freedom of diving while breath holding, using free immersion or constant weight techniques, gradually increasing your depth from 10 to 16 metres.
Activities for day two are weather dependent.
