Travel to the Daintree National Park, where the oldest rainforest in the world meets the Great Barrier Reef. You'll see this Wet Tropics World Heritage area in small, personalised groups, with guided walks and guaranteed wildlife spotting, as well as a river cruise and delicious lunch.
Experience one of the most scenic coastal drives in Australia along Great Barrier Reef Drive, heading North from Cairns. See the endangered cassowary and Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo as well as other wildlife, and even get your photo taken cuddling a Koala (additional charge) or hand feed the wallabies and kangaroos.
Morning tea and a picturesque picnic lunch are included. Your guided rainforest walk takes place after lunch, and then you will spend some time at Cape Tribulation Beach. Stopping for magnificent views of the Daintree River and Coral Sea, Alexandria lookout is a real highlight. On your Daintree River cruise, look out for local wildlife including water birds and Estuarine Crocodiles.
