Embark on a full-day adventure cruise that will take you deep into Coorong National Park to witness the beautiful scenery, amazing sand dunes and wildlife. Enjoy expert commentary, two guided walks to 90 Mile Beach and Ngarrindjeri cultural sites, Pipi digging and tasting, lunch on board and more!
Hop aboard your adventure cruise at the port of Goolwa and get ready for an unforgettable day discovering the beauty of the Coorong. First, journey downstream towards Goolwa Barrage and travel through the lock chamber where you'll spot some fur-seals lazing about and native birds flying around. Continue along the waterways to the last kilometres of the mighty Murray River and to Murray Mouth where you'll be met by the magnificent sight of the Southern Ocean.
You'll then pass some iconic sites from 1976 film 'Storm Boy' and the quaint fishing village of the Coorong Shacks, before stopping for an optional guided walk on an incredible trail through the dunes that will lead you to 90-Mile Beach. At the beach, you'll learn the exciting 'Coorong Shuffle', which is a method used by locals to dig Pipi's from the sand. Head back to the boat where a tasty treat of Pipi's awaits you specially prepared by your skipper. Have a taste before enjoying more scenery and indulging in a delicious lunch on board as you continue to cruise along.
Then, adventure deep into the Coorong ready for your second stop where you'll take another guided walk amongst some spectacular sand dunes. On the walk, you'll also witness a significant cultural site of the Ngarrindjeri people where you'll learn a bit more about Aboriginal culture. Enjoy a well deserved afternoon tea on your return to the boat, followed by scenic ride back to the port along the stunning Coorong to cap off an unforgettable day!

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunscreen and jacket. It is recommended to bring a camera, binoculars (to maximise viewing of birdlife) and extra drinks (if you would like).
