Join the team at Carlton & United Brewries for an interactive behind the scenes tour of Australia's most iconic brewery. Home of your favourite beers including VB, Carlton Draught, Pure Blonde and more, learn all about the history and tradition of beer brewing in Australia from the professionals.
The Carlton and United Brewery tour gives you an insight into the tradition of beer brewing in Australia, the art of brewing, and a birds-eye view of the plant's state-of-the-art technology. A genuine working brewery, on this tour you will be taken through the historic Abbotsford site. You'll be guided through over 150 years of brewing history and knowledge as you experience the sheer scale of this iconic facility on the banks of the Yarra. Of course, a brewery tour wouldn't be complete without some complimentary tastings of fresh, cold beer afterwards, so at the conclusion of your tour, you will return to the Brewhouse to sample your favourite brewery-fresh beers, and if you're keen, enjoy a meal and some live music or sport.
Please note that the bottling line generally doesn’t operate Saturdays, Sundays and some Fridays as the brewery operates on a ‘brewery fresh’ basis and production schedules vary.
