Experience one of Australia's most popular World Heritage areas, the Daintree Rainforest. Take a guided walk through the rainforest, enjoy a river cruise to spot crocodiles, swim in an idyllic freshwater stream and visit famous Cape Tribulation Beach. Lunch and homegrown Daintre ice cream included.
After being picked up from your accommodation, this full-day tour travels north along the picturesque Great Barrier Reef Drive en route to the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park. After enjoying a light morning tea of tea, coffee and biscuits, you will embark on a 1-hour Daintree River Cruise. Gain insights into the region's unique flora and fauna, including birds, butterflies and chance sightings of the infamous estuarine crocodile. Back on land, enjoy an interpretive drive through the oldest continually existing rainforest on earth, while on the lookout for the elusive Southern Cassowary and prehistoric Boyd’s Rainforest Dragon.
Enjoy lunch in a rainforest setting, followed by a freshwater swim in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. Cool off in a refreshing rainforest setting. Visit the famous Cape Tribulation Beach for a stroll and visit the lookout where the rainforest meets the reef. Treat yourself to a complimentary Tropical Fruit Ice Cream from the Daintree Ice-Cream Company who handmake all the delicious ice creams on the property with unique flavours of the Daintree Rainforest (signature cup included). Finally, we will cross back over the Daintree River by cable ferry before returning to your accommodation late afternoon.
