Capes Raptor Centre is one of Australia's largest bird of prey sanctuaries dedicated to the care of injured, orphaned or displaced birds of prey, including Eagles, Hawks, Falcons and Owls. Visitors of all ages and abilities can get closer than they ever imagined to these magnificent birds of prey. Stop by to witness the awe-inspiring flight displays taking place twice daily, providing insight into the bird's unique adaptions and natural behaviours. These displays also feature the rare opportunity for visitors to have their photo taken with a resident barn owl. A self-guided 1km walk takes visitors through the tranquil native forest, where they can meet an astounding array of powerful and elusive birds of prey. Each visit supports the ongoing protection and conservation of birds of prey through rehabilitation and education.

The duration of this experience is 90 minutes.

Restrictions

Please be punctual, the encounters start on time. You can complete your bush walk before or after the encounter. We are open from 10am to 4pm.

  • Visitors are required to report to the ticket counter upon arrival
  • Visitors participate in the tour activity at their own risk

  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
