Enrol in this full-day defensive driving training program and make an investment in your driving future. Conducted in a safe off-road environment and facilitated by highly professional trainers, this course will provide you with practical skills to enhance your driver competency, show you how to use vehicle technology correctly, give you a better understanding of vehicle maintenance and the dangers of not keeping your vehicle well-maintained, and teach you how to recognise drivers' limitations. You'll also learn about vehicle technology, including ABS brakes and stability control, and other technologies specific to your vehicle.
This program, which runs from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and provides you with a certificate of attainment upon completion, teaches a combination of theory and physical, hands-on driver training tactics, including topics such as best practice driving principles, efficient driving tactics to reduce your running costs and the things that reduce your effectiveness as a driver. You'll be shown and asked to perform emergency braking and accident avoidance techniques, so you're well-prepared for any situation. Finally, you will also cover common crash examples, helping you to understand your obligations as a driver and the consequences of not meeting them.
Strictly no learner drivers permitted.
Maximum of 20 participants.
No spectators allowed.
This is an all weather experience.
The majority of learning is outdoors, so please wear weather appropriate clothing for your own comfort and protection.
Make sure your vehicle is in good working order and tyre pressures are checked prior to the day.
