Experience the splendours of the Nitmiluk National Park during this full day tour from Darwin. Take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters of Edith Falls, view an incredible and diverse range of flora and fauna and enjoy a breathtaking two hour cruise down Katherine Gorge.
Spanning over 292,000 hectares, the Nitmiluk National Park is an adventurer's and nature lover's delight, boasting impressive gorges, cascading waterfalls and unlimited flora and fauna. Departing Darwin, you will head along Australia's longest highway to your first stop, the Adelaide River War Cemetery, which commemorates the victims of the Bombing of Darwin. You'll then enter the Nitmiluk National Park and be stunned by its immense size and natural beauty. Take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters of Edith Falls, see a host of Aboriginal rock art and learn more about the traditional owners of the Park, the Jawoyn people. After lunch, you'll visit the Nitmiluk Visitor Centre, which displays photographs, memorabilia and traditional Aboriginal artefacts before boarding the boat for a two hour cruise down Katherine Gorge. Framed by 70 metre high cliffs and home to an array of flora and fauna including freshwater crocodiles, it's a spectacular sight to see.

Bring enclosed walking shoes, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, 1L water bottle, warm layers in cooler months, swimmers and a towel.
