This is a fantastic way to introduce a child to horses! They'll explore the stables learning about the basics in horse safety, care and handling as well as horse riding balance, and there will be some games involved for a fun and interactive lesson.
Children are introduced to the fundamentals of horse care around the stables including grooming, handling, and saddle and bridle skills as well as touching on the basics in horse riding balance.
This is a great way to introduce children to horses, building their comfort and confidence around these amazing animals.
Please note: This is not a horse riding lesson, but an introduction to horse safety.
There can be up to 8 students on the day. The price quoted is for one child.
This experience is weather dependant and will be rescheduled in the event of heavy rain or storms, however will still proceed if there is light rain. The weather is very different in the Hinterland as opposed to the beaches and the experience provider will contact you if there are any changes to your booking.
All riders and spectators must wear closed in shoes like runners or riding boots, participants must wear long pants.
