Enjoy a great day of easy cycling from historic Beechworth to gourmet Milawa stopping at food & wine outlets along the way, including cheese tasting, 3 cellar doors and a gourmet lunch. Relax with return transport by bus and collection of any of your delicious purchases!
Starting off at 9:30 am, you'll meet the friendly staff and get assistance with any bike fitting or hire needed. A detailed itinerary is sent before arrival, with instructions and maps for your gourmet food and wine stops, but you can ask any last minute questions before heading off. It's time to head off and take in the beautiful sights of Beechworth, along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. The ride itself is an easy downhill and flat 35km in total, using mainly safe off-road paths along the trail.
You'll enjoy plenty of gourmet stops along the way such as a cheese-tasting stop at Milawa Cheese Factory or a cellar door tasting at an organic winery. You'll also enjoy a delicious lunch stop in Milawa before continuing on your trail soaking up the picturesque sights of the region. Best of all, you will be collected at the end of your ride so you can fully indulge in all the gourmet food and wine stops! Arrival back in Beechworth is at approximately 4:30 pm.
This self-guided day tour is perfect if you're staying in or near Beechworth and want to enjoy a bit of outdoor activity and gourmet treats! E-bikes are also available to hire to make this trip even easier!

Rescheduling
There may be up to 20 other people taking part in the tour on the same day as you, or you may be the only guests on the day. Being self guided you aren't riding in a group or with a guide. Meet and greet is provided at the start of the experience so assist with bike pick up and any last minute instructions.
In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider
Bikes. You can BYO bike for free, or hire a regular bike or E-bike from the supplier. POA.
