Feel the magic of sunrise as you take flight over Geelong in a hot air balloon with a special someone. Watch as the sun paints the sky brilliant hues of pink and orange, illuminating the waking world below, from the city and the mountains out west to the iconic Great Ocean Road.
They say the early bird gets the worm and you'll find out why with this awe-inspiring hot air balloon flight over Geelong. Approximately 90 minutes before sunrise, you will be driven from the meeting point to the launch site, where you will watch your ride come to life during the balloon inflation. Once aboard, set off into the sky and watch as the sun peaks over the horizon and lights up the world below. Flying in a hot air balloon is a truly unique experience - you will feel like you are in a dream as you gently float with the clouds without the sensation of wind. Feel enchanted as you admire sweeping views of the city, mountains and the Great Ocean Road below.

Weather plays an important role in balloon flights. The pilot has the ultimate decision on the morning of the flight and cancellations are for your safety or to comply with regulations. Reasons to cancel are normally strong winds, rain or low visibility conditions.
Practical outdoor clothes and appropriate footwear. The fields could be wet and you don't want cold or wet feet! Bring a change of shoes and socks if necessary. Bring a cap or a hat to protect your head from heat of the burners. Don't wear your best clothes, you might get a little dirty on packing the balloon away.
The supplier will confirm the time of the flight the night before.
