This cruise explores the renowned waterways that influence Hobart's lifestyle. Visit Australia's oldest lighthouse, circumnavigate Betsey Island and discover the city's rich maritime past. Cruising down the Derwent River you'll pass historic Battery Point, now one of Tasmania's premium residential addresses. Arrive at the Iron Pot, Australia's oldest lighthouse, and be immersed in the fascinating history as your guide shares stories of Hobart's early settlement. The unique square spire is a testament to convict construction, still standing more than 150 years later. Cruising into Storm Bay, you reach Betsey Island.

This uninhabited island is home to a variety of seabirds, including gulls, cormorants and the majestic white bellied sea eagle. As you circumnavigate Betsey Island, Hope Beach comes into view. This isolated beach is known for its large breaks and offshore winds these conditions make this a favourite spot with local surfers. After 2.5 hours on the water, you'll return to Hobart refreshed, with a newfound appreciation for this beautiful harbour city.
