Prepare to discover one of the Top End’s most beautiful attractions, Nitmiluk National Park. Sit back and enjoy the spectacular views from the NitNit Dreaming 2-hour boat cruise surrounded by towering cliff faces. Jump in and enjoy a refreshing dip at the picturesque Edith Falls (Leliyn).
Explore one of the most picturesque landscapes in Australia, Nitmiluk National Park. You will begin the day early with a 6:30am departure from Darwin and take an air conditioned minibus drive to Nitmiluk National Park. Take in unlimited flora and fauna, endemic to this wonderful Top End region, as your guide provides historical and cultural commentary throughout your journey. You will board the NitNit Dreaming two-hour Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) boat cruise where you will journey through the middle of cliff faces 70m high with the sun’s natural lighting providing ever-changing colours throughout the landscape and rock formations. Listen to the dreamy sounds of nature whilst you make your way to the picturesque Edith Falls (Leliyn) which will be visited either prior to or after the Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) boat cruise. Go for a dip in the stunning natural plunge pool of Edith Falls (Leliyn) or simply relax and enjoy the spectacular surrounds.

The weather in the Northern Territory can fluctuate and be extreme. It is not unheard of for temperatures to reach over 40+ degrees Celsius in the dry season and in the evening the temperature drops dramatically. Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
Please dress for the weather conditions on the day. Comfortable walking shoes (tread closed-toe shoes), 2L Refillable water bottle, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses & sunscreen, swimwear & beach towel, all-weather comfortable light clothing and a small day bag is recommended.
