Discover the beauty of Kuranda on this unforgettable small group tour departing from Cairns. You'll hop aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail to visit Kuranda Village where you'll enjoy some free time, before journeying back via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway over the world's oldest rainforest.
Take a journey to the picturesque mountain village of Kuranda and experience the magic of Tropical North Queensland's rainforest region. You'll begin the day with a pick up from your hotel, before making your way to Cairns Railway Station to board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway. You'll pass over 37 bridges and through 15 tunnels before arriving to the charming rainforest village of Kuranda where you'll enjoy over two hours of free time to explore, shop or dine as you wish. Don't miss out on a visit to the markets to unearth some gems, or a trip to one of the zoos to encounter some wildlife!
After over two hours exploring Kuranda, you'll then head back to the city aboard the amazing Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you'll embark on yet another remarkable journey that will see you gliding by cableway over the stunning canopy of the world's oldest rainforest. Make a stop at the Rainforest Interpretive Centre, enjoy the beautiful rainforest boardwalk and soak in breathtaking views of Barron Gorge and Falls before completing your journey home. Arrive at Smithfield and be transferred to your hotel after a magical day in Kuranda!
Please note transfers are not offered to customers staying on the Northern Beaches, Machan's Beach, Holloways Beach, Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach, Palm Cove, Yorkey's Knob and Port Douglas or more than 4km from Cairns City Centre. Other tour operators are be able to pickup on the Northern Beaches.
