Discover the beauty of Kuranda on this unforgettable small group tour departing from Cairns. Go on the amazing Skyrail Rainforest Cableway through the world's oldest rainforest, enjoy free time in Kuranda to explore, and then hop on the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail for a spectacular journey back.
Take a journey to the picturesque mountain village of Kuranda and experience the magic of Tropical North Queensland's rainforest region. You'll begin the day with a pick up from your hotel, before making your way to the charming rainforest village of Kuranda via the magnificent Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Enjoy an amazing rainforest boardwalk, glide over the stunning rainforest canopy and marvel at breathtaking views of Barron Gorge and Falls.
You'll shortly arrive at the beautiful Kuranda Village where you're free to explore, shop or dine as you wish. Don't miss out on a visit to the markets where you'll find some gems, or a trip to one of the zoos to encounter some wildlife! After over two hours exploring Kuranda, you'll then head back to the city aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway. You'll embark on yet another remarkable journey - this time by rail - passing through 15 tunnels and over 37 bridges, with more spectacular views of the rainforest to admire. Arrive at Freshwater Station and be transferred to your hotel after a magical day in Kuranda!
Air conditioned transfer available from selected hotels Cairns city and inner suburbs. I regret I can not offer transfers to customers staying on the northern beaches, Machan's Beach, Holloways Beach, Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach, Palm Cove, Yorkey's Knob and Port Douglas. Other tour operators are be able to pickup on the Northern Beaches.
