Surfs up! Spend a day at the beach learning to surf during this fun group lesson at Coolangatta. An experienced instructor will teach you all the tricks of the trade, showing you how to paddle out, catch a wave and stand up on your board. You'll be riding those waves with ease in no time!
Spend two hours out in the sunshine and in the pristine waters of Coolangatta learning how to surf. An iconic surfing destination, Coolangatta is the perfect place for a fun-filled lesson for beginners because, as a sheltered beach, it is one of the safest on the Gold Coast. Over the two hours, your skilled surf coach will teach you the basics of the sport, from the correct paddling technique and how to catch a wave, to the correct stance when you're ready to stand. Your lesson will begin on the sand with a safety briefing and some basic instruction, before heading out into the water to put all the theory into practice. After catching some waves, you will return to the sand for a more detailed demonstration of how to stand up, before spending the rest of the lesson in the water working on your skills. In no time at all, you'll be riding those waves like a pro
