Have you ever sat on a beach and looked in amazement at the surfers carve up the waves? Here's your chance to learn to surf with fantastic coaches who will be with you every step of the way!
This 2 hour group surfing lesson caters for all ages and abilities from beginners to advanced. It comprises of everything you need to know about getting in the surf and having fun whilst also staying safe. You will learn about the waves, rips, any hazards, surfing etiquette and techniques on how to carry your board, attach your leg rope, paddle for a wave and stand up. Once in the water, your coach will assist you with wave selection and help you balance as you get a feel for paddling and standing up to claim your first wave!
Lessons are mainly run from the pristine Redgate Beach just a 15 minute drive south of Margaret River. However, instructors check the swell and wind forecasted for the day of each lesson and it may vary locations to ensure lessons are safe and give everyone the very best out of their surfing experience.
There will be a maximum of 24 in a group.
Bring swimwear, suncream, a towel, sunglasses and a hat.
