Beginning in the intriguingly named Mystery Bay, this full-day tour starts off with a guided walk with a knowledgeable First Nations guide, takes in stops with a range of local Tilba and Narooma producers, including Coxon's Oyster Farm overlooking the Wagonga Inlet, and ends with a delicious gelato!
This local produce tour is all about story the story. Gathering in the intriguingly monikered Mystery Bay, your full-day tour begins with a walk on Country guided by one of the local First Nations Aboriginal knowledge holders, during which you will immerse yourself in nature and learn all about ancient Aboriginal sustainability practices, caring for country and each other. You will even have the opportunity to forage for bush food and bush medicines and learn all about their traditional uses. Your foraging adventure will continue as you meet with local kelp farmer and producer Mystery Bay Kelp who will teach you about one of Australia's most innovative sustainable industries as well as the health benefits of kelp. And yes, you will get to taste their delicious kelp products.
From here you make your way to the National Trust Village of Central Tilba where you will meet with local producers Tilba Real Dairy and Seahealth Products and take part in a tasting of the Tilba Real Dairy cheeses paired with some locally crafted Tilba ales. You will also have some time in Central Tilba to browse the shops and galleries before your journey continues. Located in a quiet bay overlooking the Wagonga is where you'll find your next stop, Coxon's Oyster farm, where you will be given an exclusive private tour and the chance to try an assortment of oysters prepared in different ways and pair this with a delicious cocktail or a cold pressed local juice. Brought to you by another local producer, The Oyster Farmer's Daughter, this is the part of the tour that will really stand out for oyster lovers.
The last stop on your tour is in the quaint village of Bodalla where you will visit the Bodalla Dairy Shed, an award-winning dairy known for its milk, cheeses and gelato. Bodalla cheese is made with native ingredients including wattle seed, lemon myrtle, saltbush and our favourite is the gum leaf smoked cheddar, and it is recommended that you try some of these incredible cheeses, but do save room for dessert because the tour will finish with an opportunity to try the different gelato flavour,s again made with native ingredients such as Davidson plum, before you return to Narooma, satiated in every respect.
This voucher is valid for one person. Maximum group size is 7 people.
In the event of extreme weather the tour is able to be rescheduled. The tour will not be cancelled in the event of rain so please ensure the appropriate clothing is worn.
Casual clothing with appropriate shoes is suggested.

That’s 10% of the Australian population! When we started ‘doing’ experiences in 2001, Facebook didn’t exist; the iPod had just been invented; John Howard was Prime Minister; and Destiny's Child were popular (yikes!). We’ve been at this business of experiences for quite a while, so put your trust in us to show you a good time.
