Discover the flavours of Middle Eastern BBQ in our hands-on cooking class. Learn grilling techniques from Lebanese, Turkish, Greek, and Arab traditions that will enhance your backyard cookouts.

Upon arrival, you'll receive a cold beer and an apron before meeting your instructors for the day. Our experienced chefs will guide you through the characteristics of seven regional BBQ styles, teaching essential techniques like charcoal smoking and the shish method.

During this 3-hour class, you'll learn about spice rubs, timing, and temperatures while preparing and smoking fresh meats. Gain practical experience with professional equipment and create authentic accompaniments to complement your dishes.

Your chefs will share tips on troubleshooting and achieving optimal cooking temperatures, ensuring you leave with the skills to recreate these delicious Middle Eastern BBQ specialties at home.

Session Length

This experience is three hours in duration.

Restrictions

Participants must be 18 years and over to be served alcohol; a photo ID may be required.

Guidelines

  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to ensure a successful day barbequing for all
  • All aprons, equipment and ingredients are supplied fresh from our suppliers for a great day of cooking
  • No group bookings- you can reach out to us organize a private class

Numbers on the Day

Classes operate with 12 – 20 people in each cooking class plus 2 experienced chefs. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be contacted via email the Thursday prior to your experience to offer an alternate date for the class.

Spectators

Our venue has a venue capacity of 15 people, unfortunately, we do not allow spectators however they are welcome to join as one of the participants in the session.

Dress Code

Please wear covered footwear on the day of the cooking class. During the cooler months, it is also recommended to bring a jumper as the class is held in an outdoor location.
