Night photography is a great way to express yourself differently with the dark sky as your backdrop. Using a tripod and your DSLR camera you will learn to shoot in manual modes to best capture cityscapes, seascapes and an interesting mix of reflections and careful use of ambient or street lights.
Your professional photographer will start the evening by explaining in depth the manual modes, such as controlling, shutter speed, ISO and aperture which are valuable assets when creating night photography.
Once you start feeling more comfortable about all the settings on your camera, you will take to the charming streets of Fremantle to start taking some amazing shots of cityscapes, seascapes, sunsets and reflections.
Your first stop will be to shot the sunset and seascapes, you will have the opportunity to shot from two different locations, during this time you will learn about colour temperature, using basic flash and learn about exposures in low light.
You will then make your way around Fremantle to shot some of the the fascinating cityscapes.
Once the sun goes down your last stop will be to learn the art of creative light painting. You instructor will go through techniques and you will have time to get creative, make your own shapes out of lights and shot using a tripod.
This night photography course will be sure to be a great nights photography for beginners wanting to shoot and experiment photography at night. All you need is a Digital SLR or camera with full manual controls, a sturdy tripod and lots of memory space.

That’s 10% of the Australian population! When we started ‘doing’ experiences in 2001, Facebook didn’t exist; the iPod had just been invented; John Howard was Prime Minister; and Destiny's Child were popular (yikes!). We’ve been at this business of experiences for quite a while, so put your trust in us to show you a good time.
