The Treetop Walk is a unique attraction which provides a 1.9km rainforest interpretive walk experience through beautiful cool temperate rainforest and features the 600mt long and 30mt high steel structured treetop canopy walkway. Experience the sensation of being 30 metres above the forest floor.
As you proceed along the level walkway, the ground progressively drops away taking you on a journey through the upper reaches of the rainforest vegetation strata. You emerge through the ferns of the forest floor to the tranquillity and beauty of the forest canopy. At 30 metres high you experience a unique, up-close view of the flora and fauna of the rainforest. Before you know it you are staring out above the treetops and there are also some spectacular stands of ferns to look down on. Well designed and informative panels explain in greater detail what you're looking at several points along the walk, enriching your experience. The total walk takes approximately one hour to complete, but you are welcome to spend as much time as you like out there. This tour caters for visitors of all ages and levels of mobility for a unique and challenging experience at all times of the year.
Children must be at least five years of age and a minimum of 125cm tall
Up to 10 people are on each tour.
This experience will run in most weather conditions, however in extreme weather such as lighting storms, high winds and bush fire warning days tours will be cancelled and rescheduled by the experience provider.
You are required to wear fully enclosed and comfortable sporting or hiking shoes
Arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.
