This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to learn more about the technical and creative possibilities of their digital camera. Your professional tutor will start the day by explaining the 11 elements and principles of composition, shutter speed, ISO, aperture, colour temperature and using basic flash, all of which are valuable assets when creating stunning travel images.
Once you start feeling more comfortable about the settings on your camera, you will take to the streets of Brisbane to begin taking some amazing landscape shots. Along the way you'll stop to try different techniques such as adjusting shutter speeds on moving subjects like bikes, cars and people, and achieving shallow or great depth of field. Leave with a new found confidence to shoot in manual mode and a bunch of beautiful images that you're proud of!
Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a paying adult. The experience provider can’t look after minors and have no duty of care.
Class size is 2-8 people.
In the case of inclement weather, the class meeting point may be moved and participants will be notified.
Comfortable walking shoes and clothing. It is suggested you bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water and an umbrella.
