Savour the fresh air as you sail down the Port River on a beautifully constructed tall ship! Discover the old-world charm of tall ship sailing as you set some of the sails, helm at the wheel with the captain, or simply sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. Morning or afternoon tea is provided.
Step into a world of charm and adventure during this short but sweet tall ship cruise. Departing from Port Adelaide, you will set sail on the iconic STV One and All, South Australia's own handcrafted tall ship, down the beautiful Port River. During the cruise, you'll sample the experience of thousands of sailors throughout history, without the hard yards of ocean fare. Assist in setting some of the sails with the crew, helm at the wheel with the captain, or simply sit back, relax and take in the fantastic atmosphere. Make sure to keep an eye out for playful dolphins and other marine life who frequent these waters along the way.
This experience runs with a maximum of 45 participants.
Sail events are open and outdoor, so you will experience the conditions of the day. There is some covered area in the ship's saloon.
Dress for the weather on the day, and for ease of movement around the ship. Please wear sensible footwear, preferably flat-soled closed shoes, a windproof jacket and hat. Stilettos and sharp-heeled shoes are strictly prohibited.
