Take a break and discover your creative side! Whether you have dabbled in the art of ceramics or sculpture before, or are a beginner, your trained and internationally experienced tutor will guide you through your class. You will finish with a completed piece of art from your own creative ingenuity.
The philosophy behind this class is 'Learn, Relax, Create'. You will create your pottery or sculpture masterpiece at your own pace with plenty of one-on-one guidance from your trained instructor. Classes are kept to an average of 6 people so you can get ample instruction and timely assistance and advice for whatever project you may choose. Your teacher can also provide suggestions or assistance. Simple techniques and steps will be introduced throughout the class. The clay provided is suitable for both beginners and the more adventurous. Traditional and radical techniques are taught in a relaxed and informal environment by your expert tutor. The other studio artists may join the class for friendly morning or afternoon tea, for interesting and entertaining conversations. If the weather is fine this will be outside in the Pergola. Whether you are a beginner or have more experience, this class is recommended for anyone who would like to explore or discover their creative side.

Each class is 2.5 hours long. We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance.
These are adult classes.
Suitable for anyone with an interest in clay and sculpture. Suitable for an individual attending two classes, or two people attending a single class (please indicate during booking process).
In order to ensure instruction, advise and assistance to suit you personally, only one or two new students will be able to start together in the same class. You will be joining a small class of ongoing students (a total average of 6 students per class).
Casual and comfortable clothing. Covered shoes are required as it is a workshop. Be prepared to get a little messy on the day.
