Spend time engaging with the alpacas on this animal encounter experience. During this tour, you’ll take the lead and walk the adorable alpacas of Blackwattle Farm. Stroll through the farm and around the dam, hand-feeding the alpacas their favourite snacks whilst learning alpaca facts along the way.
Enveloped by wineries and with views of the stunning Brindabella Range, Blackwattle Alpaca Farm offers you exciting insight into the incredible world of alpaca farming. Grab the family and enjoy a private tour around the farm, where you'll be able to take a walk with these cute and fuzzy creatures. Stroll through the farm and around the dam, hand-feeding the alpacas their favourite snacks! A friendly guide will share their knowledge about alpaca farming, as well as luxury fibre and the beautiful products that can be produced. Make sure to bring a camera to capture lots of heartwarming photos.

Guests are able to visit the farm for free. Participation in the event/tour requires a booking.
The tour runs weather permitting. Tours are able to go ahead in Light to Moderate rain (as advised on the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Canberra Radar Loop). Wet weather tour options are available for these conditions.
Guests are advised to wear appropriate footwear to the farm as we will be walking through paddocks. Please wear flat and fully enclosed shoes.
