Witness where two World Heritage-listed locations converge on this captivating full day tour from Cairns. Be stunned during a spectacular reef scenic flight, touch down in the tropical Daintree Forest and enjoy a river cruise, 4WD down Cape Tribulation beach and so much more in between.
Your adventure begins with a magical scenic flight over the wonder-filled Great Barrier Reef, offering magnificent views extending from the tropical rainforest-clad coastline, across the azure waters of the Coral Sea, and into the very heart of the Reef. Your pilot will share their local knowledge of the region whilst on the look out for a host of marine life frolicking below. Continue back over the coastline and follow the stunning Daintree River as it weaves through the oldest continually surviving rainforest on earth. Touch down on the banks of the river and enjoy a delightful morning tea, before embarking on a one hour river cruise. Learn about the unique characteristics of the region's wildlife, plants and mangrove system, then jump on board a purpose-built tour vehicle and climb up the Alexandra Range, stopping at the Alexandra Range Lookout for a breathtaking photo opportunity.
The magic continues as you commence an elevated boardwalk tour amid the lush foliage. Discover the region's unique flora and fauna, with the chance to spot the Boyd’s Rainforest Dragon plus the elusive and endangered Southern Cassowary. Replenish with a tropical BBQ lunch amongst the rainforest, before heading on to Cape Tribulation beach with time for a walk. Lined by majestic rainforest-clad mountains, this is the only place on earth where two World Heritage-listed areas coexist. Ramp up the adrenaline as you zoom down the sandy highway on the 4WD-only Bloomfield Track to the pristine Emmagen Creek, with the chance for a refreshing rainforest dip. Search for colourful marine life, taste some seasonal tropical fruits and enjoy traditional Billy tea and damper. Your adventure winds down with a beautiful coastal drive along the The Great Tropical Drive back to Cairns.
Individual passenger weights and accompanying carryon luggage MUST be advised upon booking. Weight variances greater than 10% may incur an additional fee. Maximum single seat payload of 130KG. For passenger comfort and aircraft weight and balance, passengers exceeding 130KG are required to purchase an additional seat at 50% of ticket price - this is non-commissionable and payable to Nautilus Aviation on day of travel.
Children three years and above are legally required to be seated in their own seat and are therefore required to pay the full ticket price. Subject to conditions, children under three years may travel free of charge when seated on a parents/guardians lap. For bookings of more than one infant (under 3 years), conditions apply.
