Join us for an unforgettable day of adventure just outside Melbourne! Start your journey with a convenient transfer or drive yourself to the site, where you’ll receive a comprehensive safety briefing and learn about the equipment used for rock climbing and abseiling. Once everyone is securely harnessed, our expert guides will introduce you to top rope rock climbing and belaying techniques at the first site. After "lunch with a view", the excitement continues at a second location featuring a much higher cliff. Experience the thrill of abseiling and, if time permits, tackle another rock climb. Take in breathtaking views stretching to the horizon as you enjoy this unique outdoor adventure. At the end of our day we pack up and return transfer to Melbourne arriving approximately 5.00pm. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced climber, this tour promises challenge, fun, and spectacular scenery.
This experience runs from 8:30am to 5pm including Travel Time of approximately an hour each way from Melbourne.
Be prepared to spend the day outdoors. Due to the lacke of shade, we may have to reschedule your tour in the summer months.
The price quoted is for one person. Group size is usually between 4-10 people.
Activity operates weather permitting. All trips are confirmed a few days prior when the weather forecast is available.
A pair of comfortable shoes with a good sole for walkin go on rocky tracks to the sites. (Sneakers/runners are better than boots). We do provide a range of climbing shoes Dress comfortably for the outdoors and expected weather, Gym wear such as 3/4 length pants, leggings or track suit, warm fleecy top/Waterproof/windproof jacket are useful as are Sun screen & a Peaked hat. Cover your knees if you can!
This experience includes: Optional return transport between meeting point in Melbourne and the climbing site. Climbing, abseiling & safety equipment. Professional instruction. You can BYO climbing shoes and harness if you have them or use those supplied. Optional Snacks & BYO a picnic style lunch (either fresh salad rolls or sandwiches, tea/coffee, water, fruit etc) or you can BYO if you have special dietary requirements.
