Blessed with a casual atmosphere, picture-perfect scenery and some of the world's finest beaches, Rottnest Island is the perfect Island getaway. Departing from Fremantle, enjoy a relaxed ferry ride as you travel to the iconic destination. Upon arrival, you will make your way to Kingstown Barracks where your experienced guide will introduce you to your Segway in the practice area before setting off on your exciting adventure. As you cruise along, listen to stories of the settlement's intriguing and controversial past and marvel at the spectacular beauty that surrounds.
Pass by the stunning Thomas Bay, the iconic Rottnest Pub before leaving the settlement to uncover the pristine bays and beaches that Rottnest is renowned for, including the breathtaking The Basin. You will stop at the Bathurst Lighthouse to admire the sweeping views of the beaches below and for incredible photo opportunities. Remember to keep an eye out for the cheeky little Quokka as you glide along! After an hour on the Segway, return to Kingstown Barracks where you will have few hours of free time to explore the Island. Take a dip in the clear turquoise waters, relax on the impossibly white sand or enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the many fine restaurants on the Island. This little slice of paradise is ripe for discovery, so whatever you choose you're sure to be impressed. You will arrive back in Fremantle at approximately 4:30pm.
Minimum age for Segway tour is 12 years of age. Minimum weight is 45kgs.
Bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable footwear and swimwear.
