Restrictions

No drones. A reasonable degree of fitness and mobility is required for boarding and moving around the boat, as well as accessing the toilet which is located down a small set of stairs. Pregnancy: Expectant guests who are 28-36 weeks pregnant will require medical clearance to board. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone over 36 weeks gestation. Depth of water when at anchor varies from 2-5 metres. Anyone unable to swim independently (except in the case of young children who under full assistance from adults) will not be able to undertake swimming or snorkeling, but is welcome to participate in other activities provided they can do confidently and safely. Limit of 8 per group booking.

Guidelines

• Children aged 2-3 are free with an accompanying adult. Please contact the provider as there may be a hire fee for children's life jackets
• This experience is not suitable if you have back problems
• Pregnant women over 30 weeks may need to provide a medical clearance
• Participants will need to complete a swimming waiver upon boarding
• All guests entering the water must be able to swim independently, unaided, except for young children who must always be under the full guidance of an adult.
• A swimming waiver is required to be signed when onboard, before entering the water.

Cancellation

• Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows will result in you forfeiting your experience
• Reschedules must be sent via email directly to the operator, contact details will be provided once your experience is confirmed. Please quote your booking reference and requested changes. Please note only one reschedule will be allowed per booking and must be processed before the cut-off: 72 hours before departure, within the same season. Subsequent changes will incur a fee of $25pp.
• Participant name changes are permitted and must be sent via email directly to the operator at least 24 hours prior to departure. Operator contact details will be provided once your experience is confirmed. Please provide guests full name, mobile number and email address.
• Bookings for 5 or more - 7 days notice required

This cruise runs with group sizes up to 24 people. On rare occasions this number may be slightly higher.

Weather

Public departures are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers. The provider monitors expected conditions well in advance of each tour and charter and will always try to give you as much notice as possible if they deem it too risky to proceed, however the final decision is at the discretion of the skipper on the day. Unexpected weather changes can and do happen, albeit are rare.

Dress Code

Casual attire. Sailing can be a windy and wet experience. It is advisable to bring a windcheater or spray jacket and / or a warm pullover. Shoes with a good grip and preferably a white or light-coloured sole are best. Bare feet on deck. Bring along your bathers and a towel.

Other Info

Snorkelers must be aged 8+ and be of at least a moderate swimming ability. Snorkeling is only semi-guided - guests do need to be able to swim and explore the reef independently. Children are welcome as part of a family group but must be under direct adult supervision at all times. Children under 10 may be asked to wear a life jacket at all times BYO is permitted providing it is consumed in moderation. We also request that guests refrain from drinking until in-water activities are completed. We operate this tour with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 24. If minimum numbers are not reached we will contact you with at least 6 hours notice to arrange an alternative date with you. If we are unable to accommodate you on another date we will provide you with a refund.
