In this 3 hour private workshop for adults, you will learn all about setting up a sewing machine, which stitches to use, how to change the bobbin, foot and needle. Once you've had a practice run on some scrap material, put your new skills to use by creating a simple square cushion cover.
Whether your dreams are to become a famous fashion designer or you simply want to learn a new skill, you'll enjoy this informative and hands-on sewing class.Taught by a passionate textile/fashion designer, you will learn the basics of setting up a sewing machine, about different stitches and when best to use them. When you are feeling confident with your technique, you will be shown how to measure, mark and cut your material to create a simple square cushion cover. Leave feeling ready to take on some simple sewing projects at home.
The duration of this class is 3 hours.
This is a class for adults only, under 18s will not be permitted to enter the venue
Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
This is a group class of up to 10 students.
