Slip on a wetsuit and kayak an incredible coastline before sliding into the water for a snorkel and the chance to encounter some amazing animals on this active adventure tour of Batemans Bay. A true crowd-pleaser for beginners and veterans alike, every tour is a little different but always exciting!
If you have a passion for snorkelling, nature and adventure, this fun, achievable tour is for you! Your experience begins when you meet your team, including your experienced guides, at your start location where you will be issued with all the necessary equipment and briefed on the departure plan. Dressed in wetsuits, with a lifejacket on, your provided snorkel gear will be stowed in your kayak and you undertake a kayak lesson and safety briefing before launching and paddling away from shore. Using double kayaks, you will enjoy a short paddle across shallow kelp forests, and sandy beaches before anchoring at any of our many snorkel destinations. Here you will slip out of your personal flotation device and into your snorkel gear, and slide over the edge. Your kayak makes a super fun platform to dive from as you can access many great spots just offshore, the kind of spots that only those with a watercraft can access.
The South Coast of NSW is fortunate enough to get a variety of marine life and ecosystems, so your guides will choose the spots based on the wind and swell directions. Wherever you end up dropping anchor you will be able to snorkel for up to 30 minutes before you slip back into your kayak for a hot drink and muffin, and enjoy the paddle back to the start location.
