Quash your fears as you snorkel amongst our biggest sharks in the deep, heated waters of our tropical lagoon. As you float by, gaze in awe at these majestic creatures go about their daily lives without a worry, and view sharks up to 3m in length. Includes entry to the shallows encounter.
Head to Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters for a unique and immersive animal adventure like no other! Pop on a snorkelling mask and swim out over to the deeper section of the tropical lagoon with the help of your experienced guide amidst our exciting reef sharks. Peek below and view sharks up to a whopping three metres in length snoozing on the bottom, as well as large rays majestically gliding by. You'll get the chance to see both whitetip reef sharks and tawny nurse sharks as they swim beside you and under you. The experience is both exhilarating and nerve-racking! After the snorkel, step into the shallow waters of the tropical lagoon and encounter the friendly resident sharks and rays at a new depth. Get to know their gentle and affectionate nature as you reach down to feed and pet them.
Spectators may watch the encounter with a valid entry ticket, but they must not enter the water during the encounter.
Operates in all weather conditions. The outdoor lagoon will only be evacuated during electrical storms.
Shoes must be worn except when inside the water. Swimwear is not needed for the shallows encounter, shorts or skirts (or pants you can roll up) are recommended. Wetsuit provided for the snorkel.
