Take to the skies over the UNESCO World Heritage-Listed Southwest National Park to explore the remote waterways and wilderness. Track over Hobart’s eastern suburbs and the Derwent River, following the D’Entrecasteaux Channel past Recherche Bay to Tasmanian’s most southern point, South East Cape. Cruise along the South Coast Track all the way to Melaleuca where you'll land on a remote airstrip.

Here your guides will take you along the Needwonnee Walk, an award-winning aboriginal interpretive experience which features elements of the 40,000 year history of the original inhabitants of the land. Afterwards, learn some more modern history at the Melaleuca Museum and enjoy the chance to see the critically endangered orange-bellied parrot at the Deny King Bird Hide. You will then embark on a scenic boat ride down Melaleuca Inlet and into Bathurst Harbour, Port Davey, an untouched waterway more than three times the size of Sydney Harbour. Admire the remote Celery Top Islands, breath in the fresh air and experience true wilderness at its best. A delicious lunch showcasing some of Tassie's finest produce follows, paired with award-winning local wines. Soak up the serenity of this quiet location and watch the world go by at a much slower pace. On your return to Cambridge Airport, you'll cruise past Federation Peak and Mount Picton, before heading over Huonville and Hobart city.
