Begin your day with a sunrise hot air balloon flight, starting at Northam Airfield where tea and coffee await. After your briefing, you’ll head to the launch site and can help inflate the balloon. As the balloon ascends just before first light, you’ll glide peacefully above rolling hills, farms, and forests, watching the world below awaken.
As the sun rises, we’ll float up from Northam Airfield, gliding over rolling hills, farmlands, and winding rivers. After an hour of breathtaking views, we’ll land and get everything packed up. Then, it's straight to a champagne breakfast. It’s the perfect way to toast an epic start to your weekend.
Flights do not operate during the warmer months of December to March due to unsuitable weather conditions.
The price quoted is for one person. There may be up to 20 other people in the basket with you during your flight.
Groups of spectators are not encouraged as you do not always launch at the airfield, and vehicles cannot follow onto private property that you may launch from
In the case of strong winds or heavy rain your flight may be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date. If your flight is to be cancelled you will be contacted by 1pm the day before your booking.
Please wear casual clothing, and sturdy walking-type shoes (feet get cold and wet in the early morning dew). In cooler weather you will need a sweater or jacket. It does not get any colder in the balloon because we do not reach high altitudes and there is no wind chill factor as the balloon moves with the wind. The burners will also provide warmth. We suggest you bring a cap.
Safety is paramount in our operations and the conduct and duration of your flight is totally at the pilot's discretion
