An experienced instructor will teach you all the tricks of the trade, showing you how to paddle out, catch a wave and stand up on your board. You'll be riding those waves with ease in no time!
Spend two hours learning how to surf in the bright sunshine and in the pristine waters of Surfers Paradise. Known as one of the most iconic surfing destinations in Australia, Surfers Paradise is the perfect place for a fun-filled lesson for beginners. Over the two hours, your skilled surf coach will teach you the basics of the sport, from the correct paddling technique and how to catch a wave, to the correct stance.
Your lesson will begin on the sand with a safety briefing and some basic instruction, before heading out into the water to put all the theory into practice. After catching some waves, you will return to the sand for a more detailed demonstration on how to stand up. You will spend the rest of the lesson in the water working on your skills. Before you know it, you'll be riding those waves like a pro in no time!
This experience usually runs in most weather conditions, even if it is raining. Lessons are only cancelled if there are dangerous conditions like very strong winds or lightning.
