Take an intimate walking tour within the heart of the historic and picturesque Rocks precinct with your specially trained local guide. You will be covering approximately 2km at a leisurely pace, wandering down hidden alleyways, into shady courtyards, along cobbled laneways as you then head down to the shoreline of sparkling Sydney Cove. There you will enjoy the harbour views of Sydney's Opera House and Harbour Bridge. As you journey, learn about Campbell's Cove, Foundation Park and the Argyle Cut and Cadman's Cottage, The Rocks oldest surviving cottage.
The Rocks was inhabited by the First Fleet of convicts arriving at Sydney Cove in 1788. Hear the rich accounts of the antics of sailors, larrikins and rogues as they roamed the rugged rocks transporting you back to the founding times of Australia's first colony. Still seen today are the storehouses, pubs and working class cottages from the time when this precinct took on all of the characteristics of a dockside area. Weave your way off the beaten track through hidden narrow alleyways, along charming cobbled lanes, and into shady courtyards dotted with beautifully restored nineteenth-century buildings. Linger by quaint terrace cottages and take in the oldest renowned streets of Sydney. You will be captivated by the charm of this special place hearing tales that will intrigue and entertain you. The secrets are alive in the sandstone!

Tour encompasses uneven surfaces, cobblestones, worn sandstone flagging and stairs; while these elements of the tour have never been considered to be strenuous by most people, for others this may be considered as an unsuitable activity.
