Excite at the chance to swim alongside the biggest fish in the sea, the magnificent whale shark, in the shoulder season! You'll spend the full day out on the stunning Ningaloo Reef, discovering what lies beneath the surface and searching for majestic humpback whales frolicking close by.
Get prepared for an awe-inspiring day of wildlife encounters in the postcard perfect Ningaloo Reef. You will be picked up from your Exmouth accommodation early and transported to the departure point. After a safety briefing, you'll make the plunge and discover the amazing underwater world, boasting all colours of the spectrum. At 10am, the spotter plane will be launched in search for whale sharks, the biggest fish in the sea. As your tour is during the shoulder season (September to October), whale shark sightings are less reliable. If your crew is lucky enough to spot some, you'll head to their location and take turns swimming alongside them, feeling blessed as you share the underwater realm with these ginormous and friendly creatures. During these months, you're likely to spot majestic humpback whales at play as well as turtles, manta rays, dugongs and dolphins.
Maximum of 20 participants. There are never any more than 10 people in the water at any one time.
The experience will still go ahead in the event of rain or inclement weather. If the experience provider does have to cancel the booking due to poor weather, you will be rescheduled by the provider.
Please wear your swimwear onto the boat. You are welcome to bring your own snorkel equipment with you however, it is provided. Please also bring along a towel and something warm to wear. Footwear is not required.
