Get back to nature and ride through the Yarra Valley’s pristine bush and mountains on this guided horse trail. Keep your eyes peeled for wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and more that call these areas home and stop for a local wine tasting at a quaint mountain hut.
Explore the gorgeous Chum Creek in the Yarra Valley on horseback! One to tick off the bucket list, this 2.5 hour horse ride is a relaxing way to get back to nature and become enveloped with the great Australian Bush. With the help of an expert guide and gentle horses that are matched to your ability, you will follow a trail through stunning landscape up to a quaint mountain hut for a local wine tasting. Once there, you'll be treated to wines from Tokar Estate and spectacular views of the region, including the Great Diving Range. Keep your eyes open for curious animals like wombats, kangaroos, lizards, wallabies, deer and lyrebirds that call this area home.
The price quoted is for one. This isn't a private tour. Only small groups are taken on horse trail rides, and as such, we may knock back customers for many rides due to availability.
Horse Trail Rides go out ‘INDEPENDENT OF WEATHER’. Horse Rides are provided with drizabone coats.
Long pants and closed toe shoes (e.g. runners or boots) are required. Strictly no shorts, sandals or gumboots. Please bring sunscreen. Rain coats when riding in the rain are provided.
